Only in Canada!

I have a few "Only in Canada" stories but I had to squeeze this one in...
This involves a patient who has also become a friend and she has given permission for  me to publish this short tale of what is not her brightest moment.  Laura Mary - whom you can see in one of the photos, spends a great deal of time with her partner, at the 'nurses cabin' in the woods on a small lake near town. they have put a great deal of work into it as it was badly in need of repair and new windows were a wothwhile addition as it not only increased the light coming into the cabin, but provided a great view of the environment around the cabin.  Unfortunately it also provides a perfect bears'-eye view of what delectable mrosels may be inside the cabin. Therefore the windows become terrible smudged with bear drool and paw prints virtually obscuring the view.  Laura Mary (impulsive as she can be) decided that they must be cleaned - today.  The fact that she ended up at the hospital with frostbitten hands is no surprise since the day she chose to clean them was a balmy -35 degrees and the cleaning solution kept freezing as quickly as she put it on the window. It's pointless to try to figure out what would possess someone to do this but we could not help but laugh at the fact that 'onl;y in Canada' would we have someone come to the ER with frostbite from cleaning bear prints off the windows.  I guess you had to be there...
